Job Description

We are seeking an individual who is passionate and driven to build and steward donor and partnership relationships. This position offers the opportunity to contribute towards a robust and thriving community, where the Deaf, Deafblind and Hard-of-hearing have equitable opportunities.

This role involves researching potential donors, cultivating, engaging and retaining individual and corporate donors, preparing donation appeal letters, proposals and impact reports, and supporting diverse fundraising channels, campaigns and events.

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in sales/fundraising/donor stewardship, excellent storytelling and event management skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Research and Mapping: Research potential donors and map the partnership landscape.
  2. Cultivation and Engagement: Cultivate, engage and retain individual and corporate donors.
  3. Donation Preparation: Prepare donation appeal letters, proposals and impact reports.
  4. Fundraising Support: Support diverse fundraising channels, campaigns and events.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales/fundraising/donor stewardship.
  2. Storytelling and Event Management: Excellent storytelling and event management skills.
  3. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Independence: Ability to work independently.
  5. Digital Tools: Proficient in working with digital tools.
  6. Social Services Experience: Experience in working or volunteering in social services is an advantage.
  7. Singapore Sign Language: Proficiency in Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) is an advantage.
