Key Responsibilities

A Equipment Repair Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a workshop, including scheduling and supervising maintenance and repair activities.

  1. Schedule and Supervise Maintenance Activities: Ensure all equipment is properly maintained to prevent breakdowns and extend its lifespan.
  2. Ensure Safety Compliance: Guarantee that all equipment and vehicles are maintained in accordance with safety standards.
  3. Coordinate Supply Chain: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for parts and services.
  4. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of spare parts and ensure they are available for repairs without overstocking.
  5. Fleet Budget Management: Monitor and manage the fleet budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
  6. Quality Control: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities and address any defects or issues promptly.
  7. Preventive Maintenance Programs: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  8. Customer Relations: Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with customers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
  9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  10. Safety Audits: Maintain records of safety checks and audits related to repair work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: A Diploma or equivalent with ITE Certification in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance for Conventional Vehicle & Electric Vehicles, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–4 years of sales experience or experience in a similar role.
  • Availability: Immediate availability preferred.
  • Nationality: Vacancy open for Singaporeans/SPR only.
  • Work Schedule: 5.5 work days a week.
