Regional Credit Excellence Manager Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Credit Excellence Manager to lead our credit management processes across the SAPMENA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing credit operations, minimizing risk, and driving excellence in management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive credit management strategies and policies in alignment with our overall objectives and financial goals.
  • Oversee and manage credit levels across the region, ensuring efficient customer credit operations while meeting business turnover targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate risk across the region, identifying potential areas of concern and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risk.
  • Identify and implement transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and improve the process, quality, or productivity of the teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to align deductions strategy and ensure effective credit management practices.
  • Conduct regular credit reviews and assessments to assess the creditworthiness of customers and make informed credit decisions.
  • Review credit policies and insurance coverage across all countries to ensure minimal risk exposure.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional credit teams, ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the credit management skills of the regional credit teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to credit management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit management, preferably in a regional or multi-country capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies, credit policies, and credit management best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound credit decisions based on thorough analysis.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and credit management systems.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to credit management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Professional certifications in credit management or risk management are a plus.
