We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Community Development Specialist.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality social work services to clients. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting group work, casework, community development, stakeholder engagement, and uplifting professional practice in social work.

  • Formulate group work intervention plans
  • Evaluate progress
  • Supervise facilitation
  • Review case notes
  • Implement case and care plans
  • Conduct needs and intake assessments

You will also be responsible for performing community development work, including implementing new initiatives, evaluating progress, developing community development initiatives, mobilizing community resources, leading environmental scans, and building professional relationships with clients and other professionals.

In addition, you will assist staff in implementing and improving their self-care plan, organize crisis management teams, support professional development, design research on practice, review models of care, supervise staff, implement standards of care, and perform audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Possess a degree in Social Work or a degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Accredited as a Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage.
