Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller who is passionate about creating and optimising complex financial models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent analytical skills and experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.

As a Financial Modeller, you will work closely with our team to develop and refine comprehensive financial models that support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for performing sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, and for contributing to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognised advisory practice or large corporate setting
  • Good appreciation of accounting concepts, an accounting qualification is beneficial
  • Good understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models using Excel
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
  • Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable
