Job Title: Process Engineering Specialist

Job Description

Our company seeks a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our process engineering group, you will be responsible for developing and executing process design solutions that meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in process design engineering work, including feasibility studies, front-end engineering design (FEED) and detail engineering design.
  • Execute tender preparation and EPC/EPCm project execution as a key person.
  • Develop project specifications, design philosophy, PFDs, P&IDs, calculations and operation manuals.
  • Perform process simulations and develop heat and material balances.
  • Design process systems, including reactors, columns, drums, heat exchangers and tanks.
  • Conduct design reviews, HAZOP, IPF, SIL studies and 3D model reviews.
  • Review and check design outputs, datasheets and drawings prepared by process engineers.
  • Support construction and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with clients, project teams and vendors.
  • Monitor manhours and schedules for process work and deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' of experience in process engineering.
  • Proficient in computer equipment and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with PRO/II, HYSYS, HTRI, AUTOCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and technical skills.
  • Leadership qualities and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical information.
