The role of the Senior Manager, Research Collaborations is to facilitate and support research activities, particularly in the area of research collaborations.
This position plays a crucial part in facilitating research partnerships through contract management and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the review, negotiation, and management of complex multi-party research collaboration agreements or project agreements and ensure timely execution.
- Handle sophisticated research collaboration agreements with various stakeholders including institutions, academic partners, and industry partners.
- Ensure compliance and risk management in contract development and execution.
- Drive efficient contract processing while maintaining high standards of governance.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will oversee and support special projects within the Office of Research and draft or review ad-hoc research policies under the office's purview.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or science-related fields with 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to understand grant application requirements, scientific, and clinical terms, and medical jargon.
- Candidates with administrative experience and involvement in drafting and facilitating research agreements are preferred.
- Fast learner with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
