Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

About the Role:

  • Perform regular inspections of electrical tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Approve and update single line diagrams to meet site requirements and complete Certificate of Fitness turn-on forms.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for maintenance and project-related work.
  • Engage in project planning, material requisition, cost management, project oversight, and documentation.
  • Plan, prepare, and oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E equipment.
  • Supervise and manage vendors, contractors, and in-house technicians to monitor work progress and coordinate with client representatives on technical issues.
  • Lead a team of supervisors and technicians to ensure maximum uptime of M&E systems and their equipment.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Handle additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • EMA certified Licensed Electrical Worker Grade 8 (Technician).
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in conducting electrical installation checks to ensure compliance to Code of Practice and Singapore Standard as a LEW.
  • Immediate availability is advantageous.
