Civil and Structural Engineer

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to perform feasibility studies, concept designs, front-end engineering design (FEED), and detailed designs for civil & structural works in industrial/energy related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will have experience in power plant projects, preparation of C&S material take off (MTO) for cost estimates, tender specifications, project requirements, tender evaluation, and presentation of designs to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from a recognized university and at least 5 years of experience in detailed design projects is required.
  • Experience in geotechnical engineering design, marine facilities' design, concrete and steel structures, drainage, sewerage, and road works infrastructures is desirable.
  • Conversant in Eurocodes, BS Codes, NFPA, API, and local authorities' requirements and submissions.
  • Able to project manage assigned projects independently and possess strong presentation, communication, and report writing skills.

Bonus Points:

  • At least 5 years' relevant working experience in design of concrete and steel structures, drainage, sewerage, and road works infrastructures.
  • Candidate with more than 15 years of relevant experience will be considered for higher position.
