Job Opportunity: Senior Civil and Structural Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing civil and structural design projects, involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings.

Key requirements include a minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil) and at least 3 years of relevant experience in engineering design work with a consultant firm. He/she should be conversant with the latest design codes and authority requirements.

  • Prepare calculations and review structural design drawings in accordance with customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
  • Assist in producing tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts.
  • Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures.
  • Work with Qualified Person (QP) and/or Senior Engineer to develop design scheme for civil and structural works, submissions to authorities, project planning, implementation and monitoring progress of project.
  • Project coordination and liaison with stakeholders on technical matters during construction stage.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
