Job Description:

The Compassionate Care Specialist is a vital member of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality interventions and programs to empower individuals and communities. This role involves conducting casework and group work, as well as implementing and evaluating community development activities and programs to address service gaps in the community.

In this dynamic position, you will work collaboratively with other agencies and ministries to achieve your goals. Your expertise will be utilized to conduct needs and intake assessments, perform case and care planning, and implement case and care plans and interventions.

As a compassionate and service-oriented professional, you will maintain accurate records and prepare social reports, plan and facilitate group work interventions, and support community development initiatives. You will also guide volunteers and placement students in their work and participate in research to enhance the professional practice in social work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work recognized by the relevant accreditation board
