Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Our company is a leading provider of policy-driven information risk management software for large enterprises. We offer an exciting opportunity for senior cloud software engineers to join our global agile scrum team responsible for designing and building cutting-edge solutions and next-generation containerized products deployed in the cloud.


Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced software engineer to lead the development of our cloud-based applications using Java. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software architecture, programming practices, and design patterns in Java. They will also have hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC frameworks, Hibernate, JUnit, Gradle/Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, Rancher. Additionally, they should have basic knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cutting-edge cloud-based applications using Java
  • Lead a global team of developers to achieve project goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution is supportable
  • Stay up-to-date with software technologies and methodologies

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in computer science or a related field
  • Good understanding of software architecture, programming practices, and design patterns in Java
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC frameworks, Hibernate, JUnit, Gradle/Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, Rancher
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to learn new technologies
  • Minimum 12 years experience
