Job Title:

Clinical Governance Analyst

About the Role:

This position plays a vital role in supporting the Clinical Governance & Quality department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing data management and analytics, hospital policies, and processes. You will work closely with senior management, clinical chiefs, doctors, patient care staff, and other CGQ staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Oversee the Portal for Risk Identification and Safety Management (PRISM) system, including incident screening and system administration functions. Liaise with vendors and perform testing, troubleshooting, and system configuration as required.
  • Data Analysis: Facilitate data requests from internal and external stakeholders, monitor clinical quality and patient safety indicators, and prepare internal and external submissions.
  • Statistical Analysis: Use Statistical Process Control methodology to identify trends and variations in clinical quality and patient safety data and indicators.
  • Dashboard Design: Design and implement automated dashboards and reports for departmental and hospital-wide users.
  • Support Services: Assist with data preparation and statistical analysis in clinical quality and patient safety related activities, such as international benchmarking, quality datamart, quality improvement projects, etc.
  • Committee Support: Provide secretariat support for Non-pharmacological Intervention Committee.
Qualifications:
  • A degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to produce and present high-level statistical reports with in-depth analysis to senior management.
  • Able to view issues at the strategic level, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to multi-task and manage teams and projects.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels with good interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Statistical Process Control methodology, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and in statistical software such as SPSS and SAS.
