Job Title: Resident Technical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Technical Officer to join our team at EPM ENGINEERING PTE. LTD.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and integrate all architectural works, highlighting any discrepancies to the Superintending Officer.
  • Check and coordinate mock-ups done on site in accordance with design and specifications.
  • Monitor and provide weekly reports to consultants and Superintending Officer on progress of works to ensure timely completion.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Superintending Officer/consultants to resolve technical and/or interfacing issues with contractors.
  • Check and inform Superintending Officer of any discrepancy between architectural and other drawings with site conditions prior to commencement of work.
  • Make periodic inspections of works performed and to be performed on site to ensure that works are being executed according to necessary standards, performance, quality, and workmanship.
  • Coordinate with Contractor and site supervision staff for access openings and services openings and proper running of all pipe works and cables trays or trunkings.
  • Be responsible for rectification of architectural defects during Defects Liability Period. All defects must be made good to satisfaction of Superintending Officer.
  • Compile and submit all architectural finishes with complete information and data to Superintending Officer for approval.
Requirements:
  • Junior and Senior Position available
  • Resident Architect, Engineer (C&S) and Engineer (M&E) engaged for Contract shall have minimum three years working experiences in supervision works of building and construction. The Resident Architect appointed shall possess qualifications recognised by Board of Architects. The Resident Engineer – C&S, M&E shall be accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers (ACES).
  • Be self-motivated and a team player, Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of contract requirements.
