Job Title: Community Coordinator

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Community Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with residents and community groups to plan and run activities and interest groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with residents and community groups to develop and implement programs that meet their needs.
  • Encourage and support residents to take on leadership roles in planning and running activities.
  • Work with local leaders and stakeholders to deliver meaningful programs that benefit the community.
  • Collect feedback from residents to improve future programs and understand their needs better.
  • Promote and guide residents to participate in health, social, and community programs.
  • Encourage involvement in activities such as exercise, volunteering, and interest groups.
  • Oversee the daily operations and logistics of the physical space.
  • Manage budgeting, attendance tracking, and data collection for program evaluation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
  • 2–3 years of experience in social care, aged care, or community engagement.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Well-organized and able to manage time and tasks effectively.
