Are you a seasoned professional in the capital markets industry looking for a challenging role? Upskills, a leading provider of financial software consulting services, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Murex Front Office Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills to work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Senior Murex Front Office Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, configuring and testing Murex Front Office systems, and providing training to users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business processes and functional requirements to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
  • Work hands-on with Murex Front Office to configure and test systems to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Liaise with customers to scope, gather, review, and implement their Front Office business/functional requirements.
  • Work with users to test, achieve signoff (UAT), and move systems toward go-live.
  • Closely work with the Stream Lead to manage customer expectations on timelines.
  • Support clients with the development of their own internal project plan, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline, etc.
  • Responsible for training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.
  • Assist in system integration, data migration, and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, Business, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of Murex Front Office experience working in the capital markets industry.
  • Strong working experience on Murex Front Office (Pricing, Simulation, Pre-trade,) and strategy builder.
  • Familiar with SQL, MySQL.
  • Experience with Operating System, such as Windows, Linux.
  • Strong knowledge & functional experience in at least 2 asset classes. E.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD.
  • Experience in the implementation and support of a Front office system within a bank.
  • Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities.
  • Able to work in a team environment, focused on providing high-quality service to the client.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to handle priorities and manage business expectations.
  • Strong and demonstrable problem-solving/analytical skills.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
