Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the personnel and overall operations in the geotechnical laboratory, ensuring that all testing and related activities are performed efficiently and consistently with relevant processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage laboratory personnel and operations to ensure efficient and safe testing and related activities.
  • Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technical and quality teams to ensure that laboratory results are accurate and reliable.
  • Supervise and mentor laboratory staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that laboratory equipment and facilities are maintained in good working condition and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure that laboratory results are accurate and reliable.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that laboratory results are integrated into the overall project workflow.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Process Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in process-driven operations and people management.
  • Knowledge of soil testing and understanding of offshore marine geotechnical projects.
