We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to contribute to DTC's strategic objectives by designing and implementing programs and initiatives. This individual will focus on developing a robust TrustTech ecosystem and promoting its adoption through collaborations with industry partners.

The primary responsibilities of this role involve:

  • Collaborating with industries to drive innovation and growth in TrustTech while establishing long-term relationships that benefit the centre and ecosystem.
  • Establishing global partnerships and engaging in international initiatives to increase the centre's presence and unlock cross-border collaboration opportunities.
  • SUPPORTING THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF A VIBRANT NETWORK OF ACADEMIC/RESEARCH INSTITUTES, INDUSTRIES, GOVERNMENTS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS, FOSTERING INNOVATION AND COOPERATION WITHIN THE ECOSYSTEM.
  • Coordinating and executing impactful events that facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and enhance the centre's reputation and influence within the ecosystem.
  • Providing assistance in preparing reports for funding agencies to demonstrate impact and accountability, ensuring alignment with objectives.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Capacity to work independently, efficiently, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Advantageous to have experience in Digital Trust and/or AI Safety.
  • Open to entry-level candidates.
