Role Overview

Are you a talented professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking an experienced Governance and Internal Controls Manager to join our team. In this key position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of internal controls and governance practices across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of internal controls policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational management to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on internal controls and governance best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to internal controls and governance standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with internal controls and governance practices.


Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in a relevant field.
  • Professional certification in accounting or finance (e.g. ACCA/ACA/CPA).
  • Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of internal controls and governance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • International exposure and culturally sensitive with willingness to travel.
