At Singapore Management University, our Marketing and Alumni Affairs team seeks a skilled professional to lead the School of Social Sciences (SOSS) in its marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the school's programs, faculty achievements, and student success through various channels.

  • Key responsibilities include staying up-to-date with SMU and SOSS developments, managing social media and website content, planning promotional events, and collaborating with relevant colleagues and departments across the university.
  • The successful candidate will also coordinate undergraduate recruitment and club management activities, represent SOSS at events, serve as administrator-in-charge of SOSCIETY and SMU Psychology Society, and support student life development.
  • Furthermore, this role involves cultivating a network of SOSS alumni, designing engaging initiatives, organizing events, coordinating with central offices, and reporting post-event outcomes.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related areas, along with at least five years of experience in a student-facing role. They must be fluent in English, have excellent communication skills, and be able to develop engaging marketing content. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable speaking with students and adults from diverse backgrounds, able to deliver presentations, and experienced in event planning and project coordination.
