Facility Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of building structures, both inside and outside, as well as handle repairs and servicing of fixtures, fittings, and related facilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in building maintenance. They should be comfortable with hands-on maintenance scope and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

The role involves liaising with contractors for the maintenance and statutory certification of lifts and cranes, as well as overseeing and coordinating contractors to ensure proper execution of works. Additionally, the Facility Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition, cleanliness, and safety of the premises and surrounding areas.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proactive approach to maintenance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of fixtures, fittings, and related facilities.
  • Liaise with contractors to arrange for necessary work to be carried out.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management.

Requirements:

  • Min Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Min 3 to 5 years of building maintenance experience.
  • Comfortable with hands-on maintenance scope.
