Head Art Teacher & Educator

Our esteemed educational institution seeks a highly skilled and experienced Head Art Teacher & Educator to lead our team of art teachers in delivering exceptional art education to children. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for overseeing curriculum planning, art projects, teacher training, and managing art programs, among other vital tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of art teachers in curriculum planning, art projects, teacher training, managing art programs, managing teams, student development, parent interaction, etc.
  • Department/school administration
  • High-quality admission and ongoing student/parent Counselling
  • Scheduling classes
  • Parent & student interaction
  • Provide feedback to parents during parent-teacher meetings
  • Preparing reports
  • Curriculum planning, designing props, class prep, team supervision
  • Supporting and planning new initiatives
  • Working with a dedicated, energetic team and participating in business expansion
  • Driving the growth of the school

Requirements:

  • Degree or post-graduate in Fine Arts
  • Experience in running the arts department in a school or college
  • Preference will be given to teachers with IGCSE, IB, MYP experience
  • Degree in Education / Business management / Finance / Accounting / or relevant experience is a plus
  • Experience in school administration, teaching, and leading a team
  • Passionate about teaching and developing children
  • Pleasant, polite personality with a forward-thinking approach
  • Energetic, outgoing individual with great communication skills
  • Good organizational skills, meticulous and composed style of working
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Office IT Skills
