Job Title: Seafarer Welfare Executive

This executive role oversees the daily operations of a seafarer health and wellness program, developing strategic plans for its rollout across various regions to enhance brand visibility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Seafarer Welfare & Industry Relations in planning stakeholder engagement strategies with the Underwriting team. They will serve as the main liaison for external stakeholders on program-related matters, presenting program progress, wellness initiatives, and organizational efforts to internal departments and external stakeholders.

  • Manage the annual audit and accreditation process for partner clinics in coordination with internal liaison officers and external service providers.
  • Support the Underwriting and Claims departments on the integration of wellness program and its impact on coverage matters.
  • Conduct causation reviews and generate statistical reports for claims and wellness trends.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in the maritime or shipping industry, holding a degree or diploma in a maritime-related field or other relevant qualifications. Experience in crewing or marine insurance is advantageous but not mandatory. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
