Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist
Role Summary:
Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled software quality assurance specialist to contribute to the development of high-quality software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability before it reaches our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review system requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and insightful feedback.
- Develop and maintain detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), in collaboration with project management teams.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using advanced testing tools.
- Thoroughly identify, record, and document bugs, and track their resolution.
- Perform rigorous regression testing to ensure that resolved bugs do not reoccur.
- Monitor the results of debugging processes and maintain relevant quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Stay current with new technologies, testing tools, and strategies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in programming or scripting to enhance test automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
