We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Tester to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development and support of our test equipment.

The primary focus of this position will be to develop software solutions for our testers and provide support for our engineering teams.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications for our testers.
  • Collaborate with our equipment and test engineering teams to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Analyze and verify tester issues to ensure accurate problem reporting.
  • Validate new software releases to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Work with our manufacturing sites and functional groups to integrate and qualify our internal testers.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and technologies, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful utilization of our equipment in our manufacturing and engineering applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Equipment Development: Support the development and deployment of our test equipment through collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Software Design: Collaborate with our SIG engineering teams on software design for our testers.
  • Interface Libraries: Develop interface libraries that enable test programs and automation to interface with our tester system software.
  • Application-Specific Hardware and Software: Design the application-specific hardware, software, and processes required for our testers to perform to specifications in our manufacturing and/or engineering applications.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in software development, test equipment development, or a related field.
Skills:

  • Expertise with PCIe/NVEe protocols and related debugging (CXL is a plus).
  • Experience with SSD/HDD testing or validation, including test hardware, programs, processes, and methodologies.
  • Very good C/C++ and Python programming skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of test equipment (Advantest MPT3000 experience is a plus).
