Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS using services like EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, S3, and more.
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems in a cloud environment (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Implement and manage security best practices for cloud resources and Linux-based systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and security groups.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, S3, and other AWS services.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration in the cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience securing AWS resources. Experience with networking concepts like VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, and Load Balancers in AWS.
  • Expertise in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and system management. Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
