Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing cloud environments, with a strong understanding of cloud security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy secure cloud environments
  • Monitor performance, availability, and costs across cloud environments
  • Evaluate new cloud services and implement cloud-native security controls
  • Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, reference architectures, and governance frameworks
  • Define and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and MFA configurations
  • Assist in cloud migration projects from on-premises or between cloud providers
  • Optimize cloud resources and monitor usage to control costs
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and remediation for cloud-based systems
  • Configure and manage monitoring tools
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches in cloud environments, conduct root cause analysis, and support recovery efforts
  • Maintain audit logs and documentation required for regulatory and internal security audits
  • Work closely with DevOps, IT, and application teams to integrate security into all phases of the cloud lifecycle
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on cloud security best practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in Cloud Architect and Security or Cybersecurity related Major Professional Certificate
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing cloud environment

Desirable Skills:

  • Cloud Application Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security Architecture, Data Security and Encryptions, Development Operations (DevOps), Container Technology
