Fleet Safety Role

The employer, a leading maritime organization, is seeking a highly skilled professional to conduct DOOS Office Audits and Desktop Reviews of technical managers overseeing clients' fleets. This critical role involves planning and executing audits and reviews annually to ensure compliance with the Safety Stewardship Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy Safety Specialists to verify onboard safety practices
  • Organize regular feedback sessions
  • Assist in onboarding new designated owner operators (DOOs)
  • Provide training and development to ensure consistent implementation of safety practices
  • Review safety reports, analyze data, and develop digital tools to enhance safety management systems
Requirements
  • Ex Master Mariner or Chief Engineer with relevant shore experience
  • Strong understanding of safety management and regulatory compliance for bulk carriers or tanker vessels
  • Professional certifications such as ISM Lead Auditor or equivalent
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Positions are only open to Singaporeans

This role is well-suited for individuals with experience as Technical Superintendent, Marine Superintendents, HSEQ Superintendents or other relevant positions.
