Key Job Role

As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration and operations of the town council.

  • Lead a team to manage and coordinate the affairs of the town council effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure delivery of services according to contract specifications and meet targets set by the council.
  • Manage customer relations and ensure overall responsibility for managing the administration and operations of the town council.
Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for managing the administration and operations of the town council.
  • Leads a team to administer and manage the affairs of the town council efficiently and effectively.
  • Plays a critical role enabling the town council to execute and implement policies, projects and initiatives to enhance the living environment and quality of life in public housing estates.
  • Meet financial targets set by the council.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Facilities Management or relevant Business Degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity in managing team, stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in Township/Grassroot is an added advantage.

The successful candidate will have good knowledge of accounting, contracts administration, legislations and statutory requirements with regards to township properties.
