Executive Sous Chef Role

The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for contributing to menu creation, managing and training the kitchen team to deliver consistent food quality aimed at creating great experiences for guests.

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to execute the culinary vision of the establishment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including meal planning, concept development, and inventory control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food cost controls and optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Lead a high-performing kitchen team, providing guidance, coaching, and counseling to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum Diploma in Culinary or equivalent is required.
  • At least 5 years and above hotel experience in the luxury sector in similar capacity is essential.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's food safety and hygiene regulations is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in managing a team is highly valued.
  • A Singapore Food Safety Certification is required.

  • Able to understand and justify Profit & Loss for Culinary related areas.
