Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Food Preparation Specialist.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for washing, sanitizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is crucial in this role, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • You will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
Responsibilities:
  1. Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  2. Maintain a tidy and organized dishwashing area, sinks, and floor at all times.
  3. Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage in accordance with established protocols.
  4. Report any faulty or damaged equipment to the supervisor promptly to prevent delays and ensure continuity.
  5. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  6. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is advantageous, but not essential.
  • You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 20kg) safely and effectively.
  • Able to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment where efficiency and teamwork are paramount.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to contribute positively to a dynamic team environment.
