Job Title: Procurement Specialist Position

This is a Junior-level procurement role in a Manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling purchase orders and invoicing matters, preparing and consolidating monthly reports, reviewing and monitoring suppliers' performance, sourcing and evaluating new suppliers and products, driving cost-saving initiatives to optimize procurement expenses, managing inventory control of chemicals and supplies, and qualifying and assessing new vendors and alternative sources to support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle purchase orders and invoicing matters.
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly reports.
  • Review and monitor suppliers' performance to ensure compliance and quality.
  • SOURCE AND EVALUATE NEW SUPPLIERS AND PRODUCTS.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives to optimize procurement expenses.
  • Manage inventory control of chemicals and supplies.
  • Qualify and assess new vendors and alternative sources to support business continuity.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a relevant role.
  • An immediate starter is preferred.
