Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to mitigate potential threats to the organization.
  • Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and establish a robust data governance framework to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Regularly review and update internal risk policies to ensure alignment with new legislation and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and support to staff on risk management principles and promote a culture of risk awareness within the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective risk policies, procedures, and compliance measures.
  • Design and implement monitoring systems to maintain risk levels within established thresholds.
  • Prepare risk reports for relevant stakeholders and educate the board of directors on significant risks to the business.
  • Manage business continuity planning and ensure adequate insurance coverage.
  • Conduct policy and compliance audits, including liaison with internal and external auditors.
  • Review new contracts and business proposals to mitigate risk for the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, data protection, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and data protection regulations.
  • Understanding of risk control frameworks and operational risk management.
  • Ability to handle and monitor PDPA activity, including training and business engagement.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a small team and provide direction to achieve organizational objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Regulatory compliance or compliance experience.
