Logistics Expertise Sought
We are seeking a highly skilled logistics expert to oversee the entire supply chain process in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and execute regional supply chain strategies that align with global business objectives.
- Purchasing Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regional regulations, trade policies, and industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience and agility.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of logistics experience, with at least 3–5 years in a regional role within the APAC market, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Skills: Proven expertise in demand forecasting, procurement, vendor management, and distribution planning. Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and supply chain management tools.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and lead virtual teams across multiple countries.
