Community Outreach Coordinator

MINDS is committed to empowering people with intellectual disabilities and enhancing their quality of life. As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and executing community-based programmes that support families and individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments to develop programmes that meet the needs of clients and caregivers.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for programme implementation.
  • Deliver programmes that have a positive impact on clients and caregivers, including programme evaluation.

Resource Management:

  • Take stock of programme resources and provide updates to supervisors.
  • Source, guide and coordinate partners, volunteers and vendors in executing assigned events and activities.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Coordinate with internal and external agencies for event execution.
  • Manage communications and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Support outreach efforts to target client groups, organisations and the community.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree with 1-2 years working experience.
  • Social service sector or programme management experience an advantage.

Other Information:

  • Willingness to be hands-on, strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and interest in serving people with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers.
  • Demonstrates understanding and commitment towards MINDS' core values.
  • Self-driven and a team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
