Skin Biology Research Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant with a background in molecular and cell biology, and 2D and 3D in vitro skin modelling. The successful candidate will work on an exciting project that looks to develop a new class of drugs for treating hitherto incurable skin diseases.
">- Assist with performing medium-throughput experiments involving reconstruction of in vitro 3D full-thickness skin and operation of microfluidics systems
- Conduct independently biochemistry, cell and molecular biology experiments, as well as histology and immunohistochemistry work to validate potential new therapeutics
- Provide technical and analytical support to fellow researchers in the laboratory
- Manage laboratory equipment, supply of reagents and consumables
- Participate in procurement activities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
">- Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences or related fields
- Prior experience (3-5 years) in cell culture and molecular biology is a must
- Able to take initiative, conduct experiments and solve problems independently
- Dedicated, motivated and passionate about scientific research and learning
- Able to communicate well and work efficiently in a team
