Senior Environmental Specialist

This is a dynamic role that requires the incumbent to be proactive in ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on site.

  • Environmental Policy Implementation: Understanding and implementing environmental policies, project-specific requirements, and procedures.
  • Site Inspections: Conducting regular inspections of work areas and practices to identify and correct unsafe conditions and practices.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly reporting any reportable incidents to stakeholders.
  • Machinery Maintenance: Monitoring and improving the condition of machinery and equipment.
  • Safety Training: Enhancing safety awareness through training, drills, and courses.
  • Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, and recommending solutions.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achieving and reporting project KPIs.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree/diploma in environmental science or relevant discipline, with a minimum of [REMUNERATION_MIN] {REMUNERATION_CURRENCY} per annum. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
