Job Opportunity: Patient Care Coordinator
As a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate patient records are maintained with confidentiality. You will handle patient information with care and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate patient records are maintained with confidentiality and handle patient information with care and discretion.
- Schedule internal and external appointments for patients as instructed by doctors, utilizing effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Ensure the ward is operationally ready and meets service standards, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Provide basic financial counselling to patients and their next-of-kin upon request, offering guidance and support during difficult times.
- Manage inventory and stock levels within the assigned ward, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions.
- Assist doctors and nurses as a chaperone and support administrative tasks throughout the patient's stay, providing exceptional support and care.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required to support ward operations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Min. Nitec or GCE 'O' Level qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in healthcare principles and practices.
- Shift Work: Able to work rotating shifts and weekends, showcasing flexibility and commitment to meeting operational demands.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Team Player: Responsible, organized, and a team player, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
