Job Title: Facilities Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished facilities optimization specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This pivotal role requires collaboration, problem-solving skills, and expertise in contract management, facilities operations, and vendor performance monitoring.

  • Establish clear accountability, expectations, and deliverables for the building trade team.
  • Manage contracts for civil and building systems, including service level monitoring, issue escalation, legal disputes, contract reviews, and retention as part of the annual TPM review.
  • Ensure building team members understand their accountability for service performance.
  • Support facilities operations, including system breakdown investigations, inspections, audits, and maintenance program reviews.
  • Oversee specialist vendors and maintenance agents to ensure they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain consistent performance.
  • Monitor specialist vendors' contract performance, such as irrigation systems, water dispensers, and boilers.
  • Ensure compliance with Contract Management and Procurement policies.
  • Provide expert guidance on contract matters to project managers and operational staff.
  • Develop and harmonize trade-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working instructions aligned with cluster institutions, SSCP, and industry best practices.
  • Regularly review and update policies, SOPs, and instructions to ensure operational relevance and effectiveness.
