Job Description

This role is part of a team responsible for structuring real estate financing for private funds in the logistics, student housing and data center asset classes in the US, UK and Europe markets.

The position encompasses treasury activities, including deal origination, execution and debt portfolio maintenance.


Responsibilities
  1. Assist in structuring debt financing for private funds and/or corporate financing.
  2. Analyze derivatives products to mitigate risks.
  3. Work with stakeholders to oversee transactional flows for mergers & acquisitions, investments and divestments.
  4. Manage debt portfolios to monitor loan covenants and run stress test scenarios.
  5. Report on debt portfolios to internal senior management and external stakeholders.
  6. Participate in process improvements and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Banking or Business Administration from a recognized University.

At least 4 years of relevant working experience in corporate finance/treasury, private equity funds, preferably in the real estate industry.

Well-versed in financial modeling and equity/debt capital markets with basic knowledge of accounting treatment.

Candidates with prior experience in a real estate fund and/or REIT environment within the treasury function have an added advantage.

Other key attributes include strong analytical and communication skills, proactive approach and good teamwork.
