Reliability and Maintenance Expertise

We seek a skilled Mechanical and Piping Engineer to ensure the availability and reliability of process equipment and systems.

  • Conduct Reliability Studies: Identify areas for improvement through Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Review Maintenance Procedures: Ensure that all maintenance procedures are up-to-date and in line with best practices.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs for mechanical equipment.
  • Document Management: Oversee the upkeep and traceability of engineering and maintenance documents and drawings.
  • System Availability: Manage system availability and reliability to minimize downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Technical Focal Point: Represent the technical team in new projects, ensuring reliable and efficient designs.
  • Mechanical Plant Modifications: Develop and implement mechanical plant modifications to enhance system performance.
  • Training and Development: Create training plans for operations and maintenance specialists, engineers, and technicians.
  • Internal Auditor: Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering: Hold a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Industry Experience: Possess a minimum of 8 years' experience in marine, gas, or chemical industry maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Codes and Standards: Be familiar with international codes such as API and ASME, and local codes for mechanical installations.
