We are seeking a skilled Ship Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in inspection, troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses & other hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics and Davits.
  • To supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage and in Ship Yards.

Requirements:

  • Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems.
  • Min 5 years' experience with marine crane and deck machinery makers such as MacGREGOR, IHI, MITSUBISHI, LIEBHERR, TTS MARINE, TSUJI, HATLAPA, PUSNES and NIPPON PUSNES.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sailing experience as Electrical Officer (E/O) on bulker vessels equipped with deck cranes.
  • Previous employment as service engineer with one of the leading deck crane manufacturers.
  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD).
