Job Title: HSSEQ Manager

As a seasoned HSSEQ professional, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and maintenance of our Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems onboard vessels and in the office. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage high-performing teams, drive process improvements, and play a key role in ensuring the company meets its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve HSSEQ goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain procedures, guidelines, and training programs related to HSSEQ.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement risk-based management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure business continuity.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues on HSSEQ-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nautical Science or a relevant field.
  • Master's degree in Maritime Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Business Administration would be advantageous.
  • Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with seagoing experience as Captain on tankers or Chief Engineer.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead high-demand environments.
