Key Role: Autonomous Vehicle Maintenance Expert

Maintenance and repair of autonomous vehicles are crucial for their optimal operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform troubleshooting and technical support to identify and resolve basic configurations concerns or minor hardware malfunctions.
  • Offer customer support by resolving queries, providing technical assistance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collect and analyze data from data loggers, onboard sensors, software systems, diagnostic tools, and feedback forms.
  • Develop maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to protocols and manufacturer's guidelines for regular inspections, software updates, and component replacements.
  • Generate detailed reports outlining identified issues, recommended solutions, and actions taken for each maintenance task or diagnostic analysis.
  • Coordinate operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and route optimization for the AV fleet.
Requirements:
  • Minimally a Diploma in relevant Engineering field with equivalent work experience, with a focus on mechatronics preferred.
  • Experienced in Level 1 troubleshooting, data collection methodologies, and coordination of maintenance activities for Class 3 and 4 vehicles and electronics equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Dedication to meticulous documentation and reporting practices.
