Job Title

Lead and Develop a Team of Educators in a Pre-School Setting

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as the principal of a pre-school centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and mentoring teachers to raise the standard and performance in the centre. This involves building a team with positive morale and highly competitive educators, demonstrating good leadership skills in leading a team to meet company objectives, and having the ability to lead and engage with both staff and parents effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in English and conversational ability in Mandarin, at least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience in a childcare setting including infant care, experience in managing a childcare centre (experience in an international setting is a plus), and strong leadership qualities with passion in equipping and inspiring young lives. Strong knowledge in curriculum and pedagogy is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Degree in any discipline, with Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL)
  • Strong proficiency in English and conversational ability in Mandarin
  • At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience in a childcare setting including infant care
  • Experience in managing a childcare centre (experience in an international setting is a plus)
  • Strong leadership qualities with passion in equipping and inspiring young lives
  • Strong knowledge in curriculum and pedagogy
