Job Title: Landscape Maintenance Specialist


About the Job:


  • We are seeking a skilled landscape maintenance specialist to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our properties through various horticultural practices.

Responsibilities:


  1. Maintain plants, shrubs, trees, flowerbeds, grass turfs, and irrigation systems to ensure they are healthy and thriving.
  2. Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals as needed to promote plant growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  3. Water plants regularly and remove weeds or unwanted plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  4. Cut or prune plants to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth.
  5. Propagate new plants to expand our garden collections.
  6. Communicate with team leaders about any potential job risks or hazards.
  7. Perform other instructions from the Landscape Supervisor and Manager as required.

Requirements:


  • A primary/secondary education with relevant landscape gardening experience is essential.
  • A WSQ Landscape Operation (Entry Level) Certification is highly desirable.
  • No age limit, but you must be physically fit to handle tools and move around easily during work.

Required Skills:


  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with drainage systems and soil management.
  • Knowledge of horticulture, botany, and landscape architecture.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
