
Patient Service Coordinator

The role of a Patient Service Associate is multifaceted and demanding, requiring an individual with exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a patient-centric approach.
- Greet patients and manage the reception area with efficiency and courtesy.
- Register patients, schedule appointments, and process payments in a timely manner.
- Verify patient details on third-party administrators, insurances, and Medisave, and process claims accurately.
- Facilitate hospital admissions by coordinating with medical staff and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Provide administrative and clinical support to nurses and doctors as needed.
- Conduct regular stock checks of medical supplies and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Offer financial counseling and coordinate patient surgeries effectively.
- Educate patients and family members on health grants and medical assistance information.
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum GCE N Level or above.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.
- Knowledge of medical billing software and TPA insurance claims.
- Strong ability to retain and recall information quickly and follow up on tasks or instructions with accuracy.
- Quick learning skills, strong initiative, and a positive work attitude.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer skills and good customer service orientation.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage and coordinate schedules efficiently.
- Proficiency in Mandarin for effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients.
- Ability to start work with short notice.
