Job Description:

The role of a Patient Service Associate is multifaceted and demanding, requiring an individual with exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a patient-centric approach.

  • Greet patients and manage the reception area with efficiency and courtesy.
  • Register patients, schedule appointments, and process payments in a timely manner.
  • Verify patient details on third-party administrators, insurances, and Medisave, and process claims accurately.
  • Facilitate hospital admissions by coordinating with medical staff and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to nurses and doctors as needed.
  • Conduct regular stock checks of medical supplies and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Offer financial counseling and coordinate patient surgeries effectively.
  • Educate patients and family members on health grants and medical assistance information.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum GCE N Level or above.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.
  • Knowledge of medical billing software and TPA insurance claims.
  • Strong ability to retain and recall information quickly and follow up on tasks or instructions with accuracy.
  • Quick learning skills, strong initiative, and a positive work attitude.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and good customer service orientation.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage and coordinate schedules efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin for effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients.
  • Ability to start work with short notice.

Working Hours:

Our working hours are structured as follows:

  • Mon-Fri: 8:30am to 5:30pm.
  • Sat: 8:30am to 12:30pm.
  • SUN & PH Closed.
