Job Description

This is a technical role that involves installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring systems meet performance and quality specifications.

You will also be conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities, diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, and escalating complex issues to senior engineers when required.

In addition, you will be monitoring daily operations and providing support for smooth running of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime by implementing quick and effective solutions, and assisting in spare parts management and inventory tracking.

Maintenance logs, incident reports, and service records must be accurately maintained. You will provide timely feedback on recurring issues and suggest process improvements.

You will adhere to EHS standards during all field activities and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality guidelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation, setup, and commissioning of equipment according to technical manuals and SOPs.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities, diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
  • Operational Support: Monitor daily operations and provide support for smooth running of equipment, implement quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and incident reports, provide timely feedback on recurring issues.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to EHS standards during all field activities, ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education & Certification:
  • Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Additonal certifications in safety, equipment handling, or OEM-specific training are preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 1–3 years of experience in field service, operations, or technical maintenance role.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, automation systems, or relevant tools.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Knowledge of basic PLCs, sensors, and industrial control systems (advantageous).
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and calibration equipment.
  • Basic IT literacy (MS Office, reporting tools, mobile service apps).
  • Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented with a professional attitude.
  • Flexible to travel frequently and work irregular hours if required.
