Job Title: Environmental Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.

  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with project teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and preparation of reports with recommended actions.
  • Facilitate toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and EHS training programs to raise awareness and promote a safety culture.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all EHS records, permits, licenses, and certifications.
  • Monitor environmental aspects and ensure compliance with waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Registered WSHO and ECO with at least 5 years of EHS experience at managerial level with a main construction firm preferred.
  • Familiarity with local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit requirements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to engage with various stakeholders, project team, and etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools.
