Job Title: Skilled Culinary Team Member

A dynamic and well-organized team player is required to assist in the preparation, presentation, and service of food in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations.
  • Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
  • Mixing roti prata flour and making varieties of roti prata (egg prata, banana prata, coin prata, etc.)
  • Preparing south Indian and north Indian curries.
  • Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system.
  • Cooking orders according to food health and safety standards.
  • Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes.
  • Handling multiple food orders at one time.
  • Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive.
  • Dressing orders for presentation.
  • Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides.
  • Delivering food orders to wait staff in a timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Able to work any shift.
  • Highly motivated with excellent multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift heavy objects.
  • Physical stamina to withstand a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen setting preferred.
  • Ability to read and write, with basic math skills.
